The Full Pink Moon of April 2018 rising to the east of Ben Resipole. Although pink light from the sunset colours both it and the landscape, this is not the reason it is called a Pink Moon. It's actually named after pink wildflowers, ground phlox, which appear in the US and Canada in early spring.
